My father is a one-of-a-kind! Filling his shoes is going to be difficult but with God’s grace I hope I can grow up to be like him!
Leadership-He is a leader. A leader in spiritual and family areas and is passionate about spreading the gospel. He leads his family and others outside his family in the Lord. He is one to whom leadership comes naturally. I hope that when I grow up, I too will lead courageously.
Relationships-When you think of “dad” what do you imagine? Is he a fun, yet serious guy who you trust? My dad, can play soccer with high school students or can carry on a logical conversation with someone else. He’s an all of a kind guy!
Admits Mistakes-My dad is the best I could want but he’s not perfect. However, he admits his mistakes and hopes that I will not make the same. He hopes that his children will have a better life than he did, not that he had a bad one, he just wants us to have a better one. I admire that about him.
He Has Quirks-Bluegrass dancing. I shall say no more.
