Here comes the…third installment of Williamisms! In this installment we will look at how William introduces himself and how he pronounces certain words…and personality quirks!
1. William get used to being called lots of things. At his Sunday school class his name-tag says “Will” and his teachers know him as “Will”. Will(iam) gets confused. When he introduces himself he says “I’m William, my teachers call me Will.”
2. William has grown out of the stage where he has his own language but he holds fast to his dialect. Several William pronounced words are blamly (family) biterbiter (firefighter) beetack (attack) pewter (computer) moopie (movie) and a bunch of others or should I say a bunch of udders.
3. William is a one of a kind when it comes to who he is. He will NOT tolerate deviations from what is true. (That is why playing The Jesus Easter Story, a movie, is so hard. He always corrects you if you miss a line.) He understands where certain types of conversation are appropriate. (My parents tell him he can only say…bathroom words…in the bathroom. When he sings while doing his business his lyrics are umm…unique. If you know what I mean.)
